SC BackUp application to 16 countries and over 50 Nokia devices

Softconnection Ltd have taken the challenge to serve and enhance mobile user's ability in securing, restoring or transferring critical mobile data with SC BackUp application. Current supported devices include over 50 of the latest Nokia S60 mobile devices.

The SC BackUp application will be available in selected markets such as Germany, Poland, Denmark, Spain, Russia, France, Sweden, Italy, Malaysia, Thailand, Portugal, Holland, Norway and Finland. Releases in new markets and devices will be ongoing in the coming months. Mobile users will now have the capability to manage mobile data anywhere, anytime using innovative over the air technology.

The service is designed to enhance the security of the increasing amount of critical mobile data stored on mobile phones today.

After activation users will be able to backup critical mobile data from any location around the world. The backup service is now available through a number of channels such as selected Nokia devices where the service can be activated. Some key features of the SC BackUp application include an automated backup option which allows users to setup a backup interval for backups to occur daily, weekly or monthly. Transferring data between supported phones has also been simplified thanks to the new mobile service. SC BackUp application is changing the concept in mobile management by literally allowing mobile users to manage mobile content all from the phone.

Each party involved offers their expertise in offering the backup service. Softconnection will continue to develop and improve the SC BackUp application. Phone manufactures will distribute the SC BackUp service in supported mobile phones by offering the application in the latest devices and hosting partners will head the hosting and supporting side of the service.
