Softconnection receives BornGlobal funding

Softconnection Oy has been selected to receive the BornGlobal project fund. "BornGlobal is a Tekes founded two year project for ambitious young growing companies". The project is funded by Tekes and managed by Technopolis Ventures. The funding is intended to strengthen Softconnection's internationalization.

The current SC BackUp application allows users to backup their mobile phone data such as contacts, calendar and short messages. The SC BackUp application also allows users to restore or transfer backed up data to the current or other supported mobile phone over the air in a matter of seconds.

''The BornGlobal grant will give Softconnection the support and expertise in the forthcoming release of SC BackUp into 13 countries around the globe says Founder and COO of Softconnection Jussi Teeriaho. The funding will also assist SC BackUp break into new markets giving thousands of mobile users the chance to secure their critical mobile data with SC BackUp.
